While shooting this little guy, I was telling mom how I remember when she was pregnant with him that summer. She looked great, always does, and yet I can’t believe how time has passed. I swear I’m repeating myself just like my parents did while growing up and I used to laugh at them. Is this what my future is going to be like???? LOL!

I had a lot of laughs shooting this one because mom cracks me up. She has the same sense of humor like one of our staff assistants, Holly does. Dry, underlying – I love it. And the kids are huge smilers, friendly and not shy the least bit. And dad….I’ve known him for years. He was and still is a great friend of the next door neighbor, Brian on the street I grew up (both of our parents still live in those houses). And mom here happens to be the sister of a friend I graduated high school with. Connect the dots here yet??? Small world, always.

I had a great time photographing this newborn session. Mom and dad cracked me up, especially dad with his wicked sense of humor. I still think this handsome boy reminds me of my little cousin. There’s something about his smile and eyes that look just like him.
Mom brought her mom to the session, too and we had fun shooting away all the while talking catching up from the last time I saw her a couple of years ago.

I was laughing out loud photographing this little guy because he was such a flirt for such a little one! He was having a great time posing and smiling away for me, and mom was in the corner laughing herself. She’s expecting baby number four, looks awesome and has the patience of a saint (so does dad).
Big sister was also great and was quite the talkative bird as well. I love her age because they are coming out of their shell, you can see the confidence growing and it’s pretty exciting. Sad to see them grow of course…
This was the first time I had the chance to meet the mother-in-law and the sister-in-law of this family with their spouses. I’ve been fortunate enough to have been photographing this family, the children that is, for years now and again, I met the father of these gorgeous kids for the first time this day as well. All of them did a great job with planning their colors and following through. I love it when there’s symmetry and solid, continuous tones throughout, especially when the group is this large.

I haven’t seen this family in a while, and it was great to catch up with them and of course, see how big the girls have grown. Mom and dad are so laid back and the girls are very well behaved. It’s definitely zero work for me!

Happy birthday to this sweet little gorgeous girl! She turned one and she just happened to come back to the studio with her parents to view her images while I was shooting another one year old boy who resembled her. The two of them had a staredown in the hall with quite a few smiles exchanged. Charming, cute and very funny!
I enlarged this black and white for the studio as I adore it. I’ve always been a fan of closeups, but this one in particular stole my heart. I love it and so did mom and dad!
And yet another little one turning one and it felt like yesterday when she was in for the newborn session. Mom is gorgeous as ever even when she’s not feeling well!
