Often I get to chat with mom alone when I’m photographing her new baby and what fun talks we end up having. This mom is so much fun and we laughed and laughed. She told me about the surprise this little one was to her and it wasn’t easy as she thought her baby making days were over, but she was thrilled and happy about it.

She was a tiny one still after coming in a later than the usual newborn two week birth window. She slept a lot and her big brother was a trip along side with her. Dad made me laugh, too as he has a dry and sarcastic sense of humor – my favorite kind!

Congrats to all of you and I have to say it again what a beautiful family you have. I wish you all the blessings in the world.

These three guys are special because they are robotic in the best way possible. When in front of the camera, they do anything I ask from pose to expression and are not distracted by the brothers. The second I’m done, a tackle pit begins and they are laughing, having fun until I call the next one. Nobody complains. The parenting is genius and I wish I had the playbook. I finally got to meet dad after years of photographing the boys, too. I tell you this all the time, but you have a GORGEOUS family, Melissa!!!!

This sweetheart was sleepy and quiet through his entire session. Grandma came in place of dad since he had to work and we had so much to chat about. She has twin daughters, identical, so a lot of gabbing went on about twins. And mom was so laid back, I never would’ve guessed she just gave birth to her first child. I hope you had as good of a time as I did!

Congrats again and best wishes.

I haven’t had a little one this smiley in so long, and what a great time that turns out to be! She was so happy and found everything to worth smiling for. Great reminder of how everyday is a blessing. And her little brother was slightly shy and got tired of being photographed, but he was a such a handsome fella, with or without a smile!

I had so much fun!!!

These two were absolutely adorable and so good to eachother. Not a single catfight between the two of them while shooting! They both have gorgeous eyes, don’t they???

And isn’t she a beautiful one?

I photographed her as a newborn and I can’t believe she’s sitting up already. Time goes fast, I say it all the time. When I see a newborn followed by another six months or so, I think about my oldest and can’t believe it’s been ten years already. She’s a young lady, but I swear she was just that little baby yesterday.

Check out how much she has grown in just six months!

I can’t believe this little stud is one already. It can’t possibly be one year already since I saw him last! What’s wrong with time and why is it going this fast???

Mom and dad are awesome on top of it! I have fun working with them, and once again, another reason why I love my job. The people I meet and connect with and the beautiful kids and babies I see are the biggest bonus of them all.

Now this was fun, fun, fun! I shot my girlfriend’s girls and she brought conservative, traditional dresses for them (which we shot first) and then she dressed them up fun and crimped the hair. The girls were SO good and my GF said the kids were imitating me for the next few days. Tells me that I made an impact on those baby girls!

Bring back the 80s and hair crimping…I blew the dust off my crimper and played with my girls’ hair. They loved it and made me crimp it before school one day. Crimping….

And what a family they are! Beautiful, every single one of them and the kids seemed to have had a lot of fun, just like I did.

I love the nail polish the little sister had and we used it for a short series. It’s up on the studio wall now, and I’ve had a couple of clients ask if she’s my daughter. What a compliment as she’s a beautiful little girl, but the big brother is equally handsome!

Big sister here was excited and happy, while little brother was shy and quiet. And wouldn’t you know it…the little guy opened up just as the session was wrapping up, but I knew it was a great finish. The best part of this session was when I turned the corner and saw who was standing in the studio – I went to high school with dad and have met his beautiful wife a few times over the years. I wasn’t paying attention to the last name on the schedule or I would’ve noticed, but it was a great surprise.

Isn’t it something when you see people you went to school with and years later are a parent? Sometimes it’s hard to believe!

I love the series of the kids together. They were having so much fun and so was I!
