Something exciting happened during day 852 in quarantine…Lucia’s awesome 8th grade teachers from St. Joseph School stopped by to surprise her with a lawn sign for her graduation. Although her final year at SJS did not finish the way we had planned, we know we are fortunate to be celebrating an ‘old’ while going into a ‘new.’ On that note, since she is our ‘baby,’ we are saying goodbye to St. Joseph Catholic School as a family. We’re hoping we will be celebrating with our St. Joe family in a different way soon to make our goodbye complete.
If you’re considering a small, private school in the area, from a family who has spent the last 14 years at this school, we can’t recommend it enough. Since it’s our church parish, the school will always be in our sight every Sunday, but we’ll miss the sounds of kids, especially the laughter when picking them up after school in the carline. Those will be the days we’ll always remember.
God bless the staff, kids and families of St. Joseph School today, tomorrow and always.
